My goal with every guitar is to apply the thinest finish possible.
My finishes are different from a traditional electric guitar finish. Think of the differences between a modern pane of glass, (the jelly bean looking guitars you see in your local Guitar Chain Store) and antique window glass. My finishes are the antique window panes, the thin lacquer follows the wood patterns. You see the surface of the wood and the hand work that went into applying and polishing the lacquer. I make no excuses, my goal is thin, not "perfect".

Why thin finishes? The goal is to retain the character of the wood and encourage the aging process. Another reason I'm a fan of the thinline; the design allows unfinished wood to be exposed to the air and over time that exposure has a positive on tone.
